Worship

We gather for worship every Sunday morning during the year and for special occasions and holidays. Worship is Sundays at 11:00 a.m.


Our worship style is unique to First Baptist Church.  Are we traditional? Yes, in ways that matter to us. Are we contemporary? Yes, in ways that seem fitting to us.  Our worship is defined by and centered around the teaching and preaching of scripture, our desire to come together into the presence of the Holy One, and our mission to share Jesus with our community.  We seek to demonstrate a profound appreciation for many styles of worship and  to blend the best of these styles within the practices of worship that have defined Protestant Christianity throughout its history. The best way to understand our worship is to come and experience it! 

An excellent music ministry compliments our Pastor's Biblically centered and life relevant messages, providing a worship experience intended to prepare individuals to be faithful disciples in their everyday world. We practice the Baptism of believers and we celebrate the Lord's Supper on a regular basis. Special services connected to our observance of the Christian seasons of Advent, Christmas, Lent, Easter and Pentecost are always highlights.

A nursery is provided for all worship experiences.
